To take out small borrowers from the hand of Savarkar and Pathan who taking treating from workers of industries of industrial city like Ambarnath and followed by the slogan is “Apulkine Waganari Manase” Mr. Vilas Desai faced lot of problem contributing pillars for the bank. He was apposite so many people because of same people tried for opening of bank in Ambarnath. With motto and will power he collected share capital formed Jai-Hind Co-operative Bank. Today he also gives so much of time from his busy schedule of many a various post in Bombay Industry

Present year Bank entered in to Silver Jubilee year of establishment having business of Total deposits 160 crores Loan and advance 72 crores Total business 132 crores investment 97 of ‘A’ classification given by Government and statutory activities inception of the Bank with grade ‘I’ allotted by R.B.I. its inspection of the Bank.
Bank all branches are computerized and interconnected with each other by CBS technology customer can availed banking services from any branch of the bank under the global banking concept one ‘A’ any branch banking is 1 st mile stone achieved by the bank in this year. Bank also having an opening of ATM’s at Shivaji nagar and station branch with one offside ATM facility to the customer under the concept of universal banking is trying to provide various customer services under one roof for the same bank entering in to in insurance business tie up with Bajaj Alince Insurance Company Ltd. And started modern banking service like NEFT / RTGS / foreign latter of credit linked with MSC Bank. Bank also started franking of stamp at our Amabarnath bank to provide franking services to near by local people. Bank is having eight branches with one extension counter and planning of opening new branches at Thane Katrap Badalapur.
